Welcome to Blossom! I'm so pleased you've stopped by.

My life-long passion has been coming alongside those struggling in the desert places; those patches of life that feel overwhelming, impossible or just plain dry. At times like these it is my privilege to walk with you and offer perspective, hope and yes, freedom. I've seen it happen time and again - a blossom in the desert. I'd love to show you how.

Areas of Expertise

Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Coping Skills, Spiritual Issues, Stress Management and Burnout Prevention, Life Transitions, and Women's Issues.
Lyn works from a collaborative and strengths-based approach and uses components of person-centered therapy, attachment theory, family systems theory, CBT, and SFBT among other interventions.

Lyn is a warm and compassionate practitioner who is know for her spirit of hospitality that allows clients to engage authentically in a non-judgemental space.  She has been working with young people and their families for the past 10 years - most recently in the capacity of a Family Therapist in a community counselling agency and as a school counsellor in a local High School. 

 

Blossom Counselling Services is able to offer support and therapy for a wide range of issues with specializations in anxiety, depression, grief and family dynamics. 

Lyn has a Masters degree in Counselling and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#17414) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
